Actor Shamita Shetty once again becomes the talk of the town (here, it is the house) but this time, it was because of her sister and one of the leading ladies of Bollywood Shilpa Shetty. Shamita and Shilpa were being compared to each other in Bigg Boss OTT house, thanks to the housemates. As Millind Gaba said ‘Shamita bahut chant hai’, Divya Agarwal chimed in and said she has been saying this since day. However, it was Akshara Singh who dragged Shilpa’s name into the conversation.
Praising the Baazigar actor, Akshara said, “Uski behen bahut acchi hai, tabhi ye uske naam se jaani jati hai (Her sister is very good and that’s why people recognise her by her name)” Divya agreed and stated she is a great human being as Divya has worked with the actor before. Furthermore, Akshara added one has to be humble to earn name and fame indicating while stating Shamita lack those qualities. “Apni pehchan banane ke liye, insaan ko humble rehna bahut zaaruri hai,” she added.
The Bhojpuri actor even remembered Shamita’s popular song and said that she has never seen her anywhere else after that. “Sharara Sharara class 2 mein the jab dekhte the, uske baad kahi nahi dekha,” she stated. Divya laughed but asked her to stop giving ageist remarks about Shamita.
In the previous Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Shamita broke into tears and revealed to host Karan Johar that she feels she is living under her sister Shilpa Shetty's shadow. However, she also revealed to feel comfortable in her skin and wants the audience to see the real side amidst the constant comparisons with her sister who is a big star.
