Brahmarakshas 2: Pearl V Puri And Nikki Sharma To Star In Ekta Kapoor's Supernatural Show?

Ekta Kapoor's supernatural franchise Naagin gained immense popularity amongst the folklore lovers. Every season of Naagin ensured to rule the TRP charts and the hearts of million fans. But it looks like Ekta wants to keep the trend of the supernatural franchise alive as she is all set to bring the sequel of Brahmarakshas. According to the latest news in Mumbai Mirror, Ekta Kapoor's supernatural show Brahmarakshas is now going to have a second season. The first season saw Krystle D'Souza and Aham Sharma in the lead roles, interestingly, the second season will reportedly have Nikki Sharma and Pearl Purvi.
Speaking about the same, Pearl was quoted saying, "Our responsibility is to cater to the needs of the audience, so we have to make shows that they enjoy. I try to do something different each time so that people say this is not Pearl." He also admitted not meeting his co-star Nikki yet, but has full confidence in Ekta’s choice and is excited to meet her. Puri also shared his excitement to be back on the sets, “The lockdown was a different experience. I got to eat home-cooked food and even went on some road trips. Now, rejuvenated, I can’t wait to get back. There is fear but we have to start living with it as Corona is not going away anytime soon,” he concluded.
Brahmarakshas is loosely based on the fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast. In the second season, Nikki will essay the role of Kalindi and Pearl will play her love interest Angad. The story will showcase the journey of Kalindi and how her destiny is entwined with the evil forces and how she has to face Brahmarakshas, who apparently gets strength by kidnapping brides on the day of their wedding while casting a dark spell over the town.
Meanwhile, some reports also mentioned that Krystle D'Souza might also star in the second season of Brahmarakshas but will be seen in a cameo.
