It's time for celebrations in the Khan and Darbar households as Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar's wedding is due on December 25, that is tomorrow. After seeing each other for a long time, the couple only recently acknowledged their relationship in public. It was Zaid who went on his knees to pop the question and Gauahar excitedly said yes. Only some time ago, the couple commenced their pre-wedding festivities by with their Chiksa ceremony, the videos of which saw Gauahar and Zaid dancing to the dhol beats of various Bollywood evergreen songs. Now, with only two days to go for the big day, we spotted the bride-to-be leaving for the preparations.
A video of Gauahar Khan greeting the paparazzi before she permanently becomes Mrs Darbar has surfaced online. It sees the Bigg Boss 7 winner wearing a simple yellow kurta and palazzo, along with a dupatta, and still looking gorgeous as ever. She also removed her mask for some seconds to pose for the shutterbugs and couldn't stop blushing as they congratulated her. Well, the glow on Gauahar's face was inevitable. Sharing some beautiful pictures from her Chiksa ceremony, Gauahar had written, "When half of me met half of you and together the better halves shaped our beautiful moments. #Alhamdulillah. Day 1 of #GaZa celebrations - Chiksa." In an interview with HT, Gauahar opened up on Zaid's proposal by saying, “I was averse to the idea of being with anyone when I met him. Yet, I felt this was something different because I had never met someone like him. I felt this is my kind of human being. He is like me in many ways in thoughts, behaviour, history, and characteristics. So, I knew we would have a great friendship. We didn’t have a courtship. I met him, we hit it off and he didn’t think he would propose to someone, marriage was not on his mind. When he asked me, it wasn’t planned. It was in a flow and after meeting me, in literally over a month, he proposed to me. There were no second thoughts.”
