India is seeing a huge spike in Coronavirus cases with each passing day. Recently, it was TV actors Parth Samthaan and Shrenu Parikh who informed their fans about them being COVID-19 positive. The Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actor recently came out negative, while Ishqbaaaz actress too returned home from the hospital after recovering from a deadly virus. Well, the latest actor to see his parents struggle with Coronavirus is Choti Sarrdaarni actor Amal Sehrawat. Last month, Amal lost his dad to Coronavirus and mother too was tested positive after his father’s death.
Speaking to ETimes about his father, Amal said, “My father didn't have any symptoms, we took him to the hospital for some other problem. But when they tested him for COVID-19, the reports came out positive. After that, I saw him once for a brief period. He was in the ICU all this while and finally succumbed to cardiac arrest last month. It's a void that can never be filled, but he has left us with a lot of good memories and that’s helping us to sail through this tough time.”
Amal further said that Coronavirus is an unpredictable virus. He added, “This is an extremely unpredictable virus, my father couldn't survive whereas my mother, despite being diabetic, got through it. She's fine now, physically as well as mentally. My father always called her the Iron Lady of our house and he was right.” Amal said that he saw his wife Neha Talwar’s different side during this tough time as she single-handedly took care of our son Krishay.
Amal is currently in Delhi with his mother, while his wife Neha is in Mumbai with their son. He said, “Neha managed everything, despite being emotionally shattered and alone.” He expressed his gratitude to his show makers for showing their support to him. He concluded, “I am also very grateful to the producers, directors and the entire team of my show for standing by me in this tough time.” (ALSO READ: Choti Sarrdaarni Shoot Begins: Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia And Avinesh Rekhi Hit The Set From Today- EXCLUSIVE)
