Vaishnavi Dhanraj’s video seeking help after being badly physically abused by her family is currently going viral on social media
Television actress Vaishnavi Dhanraj has impressed the audiences with her versatile performance in various serials. Having appeared in shows like Bepannah, CID, and Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, she enjoys a decent following on her social media handles. It seems like the actress is going through a tough time. A video of her seeking help from her fans and police officials is currently going viral on social media, where she has accused her family of badly hitting her.
In the video shared by various publications, Vaishnavi is seen narrating how she was tormented by her family. To prove her point she even pointed out the bruises she had on her arms and face. She is heard saying that she is currently at the Kashimira (Mira Road) police station. Talking about how she has been abused by her family, she expresses how she needs help. She adds, “Please I need help from everybody from the media, news channels, and everybody in the industry. Please come and help me.”
In addition to the viral video, she even took to her Instagram story and wrote ‘Help’. Further details on her accusations are yet to be reported.

For those who don’t remember, in the year 2016, Dhanraj had been a victim of domestic abuse during her marriage with Nitin Sherawat. She had filed for divorce after repetitive domestic violence incidents. In an interveiw with SpotboyE, the 35-year-old actor had revealed that she had eloped from the house after things had gotten out of hand. Recalling the incident, she had said, “He had beaten me so badly that my leg was bleeding. That was my last day as his wife- emotionally, physically, and mentally. I eventually got a divorce.”
