Here comes yet another shocking piece of news from the television world. Crime Petrol which is known to be one of the most successful crime anthology series on television is reported to go off-air soon. 

The show first premiered in 2003 and it continues to go strong while banking good TRP. Recently, the longest-running reality crime television series in India recently received the Milestone Achievement Award. 

The show has been hosted by Anup Soni. Until recently, Divyanka was seen as the host for the special episodes on crime against women and these days many celebrities come on the show and host it. 


The show is based on real crime cases that take place across India, and the makers show how the police solve the cases and bring justice to the victim’s family. 

Now, a recent TellyChakkar report suggests that the show is going off-air for three months for a break and might return after three months. 

The show was loved by the audience and it was one of Sony’s most successful shows. While the reason for the show going off-air is still unknown, but fans will surely miss watching it. 

Earlier, Anup Soni had completed a certificate course in Crime Scene Investigation from International Forensic Sciences (IFS) Education Department.
