Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2021 Winners List: YRKKH's Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod, Karishma Sawant Win Big, Anupamaa Bags 'Best Serial' Award
Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and more TV shows win big at Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Awards Films 2021
It's awards season! And speaking of that, the most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Icon Award Films was held recently in the city. The event took place on 24th November at Mumbai's Orchid Hotel. TV celebrities such as Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai's Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod, Karishma Sawant, Anupamaa's Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Alpana Buch among others and many graced the big event. Celebs were at their stylish best at the event.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai won big. Harshad Chopda, who essays the role of Dr Abhimanyu Birla was beyond happy to take home a trophy. Sharing a photo, he wrote, "When I feel appreciated, I try to do more than what is expected. P.S. recognition is a need few can resist and even fewer can do without. Thank you for all the love." YRKKH's leading ladies Pranali Rathod and Karishma Sawant also won awards. Pranali won Best Icon Face Female 2021. She is essaying the role of Akshara. After her win, she shared a picture and wrote, "BEST ICON FACE FEMALE 2021. Extremely overwhelmed to share my first ever award with y'all. This was impossible without all your love & support #grateful #akshara #yehrishtakyakehlatahai."
Karishma Sawant aka Arohi Goenka won Best Fresh Face Debut award. She shared a picture and wrote, "I couldn't wait any longer from sharing my first ever award with you all (Best Fresh Face Debut 2021 #yrkkh) This is one of the most memorable days of my life."

Apart from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Anupamaa, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain and Happu Ki Ultan Paltan also won awards. BGPH won Best Serial Comedy, Shubhangi Atre and Rohitsav Gour won the best actress and actor award in comic role. Saanand Verma won Best Supporting Actor in comedy. Charrul Malik won the Most Versatile Anchor and Actress Award. Child artists Aryan Prajapathi and Zaara Wrasi (Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) won Best Child Artists awards.
Sharad Malhotra who is a part of Vidrohi won Best Actor award. Hemal Dev also bagged an award for her stellar performance. The actors shared photos from the big night and thanked their fans for all the love.
