Dalljiet Kaur and Mahesh Shetty Roped in for ALTBalaji’s BOSS - Baap Of Special Services
The upcoming show from ALTBalaji BOSS - BAAP of Special Services will see Dalljiet Kaur and Mahesh Shetty in pivotal parts
With the recent announcement of ALTBalaji coming up with a new mystery thriller BOSS – Baap of Special Services, two more talented actors have joined the wagon. The very talented Dalljiet Kaur and Mahesh Shetty have been roped in to play pivotal roles in the web series. With her stellar performances, Dalljiet has created a name for herself in the industry and now the actress is all set to make her debut in the web space along with the brooding angry young man of television Mahesh Shetty. Mahesh will be seen playing the character of Chief Rawat, commissioner of police in Shimla and Dalljiet will play the chief’s wife. The chief is an honest and disciplined cop who comes from an illustrious family of law-abiding Police officers.
Dalljiet who will be seen playing the Chief's wife in the web-series said, “I have just wrapped a show for Balaji and being roped in for ALTBalaji’s show feels like a homecoming to me. Honestly, I couldn’t thank Ekta ma'am enough for letting me be a part of this series and believing in me, for this character. After a certain point of time in your career, you want to do bigger, in terms of the content and this character will definitely take me up another level. We are shooting in Shimla and it’s going to be my first trip there. The kind of content is being made on the web and being promoted, is tremendous. I am really excited about my debut in this space and looking forward to starting this new journey.”
Mahesh Shetty on playing the character of the Chief said, “I am super excited and waiting for the show to be launched. It’s a stunning series filled with riddles. I am loving my character and have given it my best shot. ALTBalaji has taken the web-series space to a whole new level and I am happy to be a part of it.”
BOSS is a mystery thriller that unravels the story of a con artist operating in the northern belt of India, who crosses path with a cop under unusual circumstances. With talented actors like Dalljiet Kaur and Mahesh Shetty, the series will surely leave viewers hooked on to it. BOSS also features heart-throb Karan Singh Grover and the gorgeous Sagarika Ghatge in the lead roles.
