While Dalljiet Kaur is making headlines for her eviction from Bigg Boss 13 house, ex-husband, Shaleen Bhanot’s mother is sure that her son will find love again and marry someone soon
Shaleen Bhanot and Dalljiet Kaur have moved on in their lives. We recently brought to you an interview of the actor, where he spoke fondly about his former wife and also about her eviction from the Bigg Boss House 13. Amidst all this, the actor has changed the spelling of his name from Shaleen to Shalin.
On knowing the same, we wondered what made Bhanot do that after so many years. So, we got in touch with the Shaleen, err Shalin to kill our curiosity. The actor told us, "I changed my spelling because my mother wanted me to do that. Some pandit ji suggested to her that if I will change the spelling, I will get married or have love again in my life. This is her way of trying to get me settled again (laughs).”
Ask him if he too believes in the same, and Shalin replies, "I am not at all convinced about it. I am very happy being single and being committed to my work. I have no time to get into any relationship.”
So, now you will find Shalin’s social media handles with the new spelling but as far has official documents are concerned, the actor plans to make the changes gradually. “I will slowly change my spelling on the documents. It’s not easy to change it in one go as a lot of paperwork is required. But I have already changed my name on social media.”

On work front, Shalin is all set to do his digital debut with web series, The Red Land and is also playing Raavan in Ram Siya Ke Luv Kush.
