Devoleena Bhattacharjee On Undergoing Surgery After Bigg Boss 15 Injury: ‘My Confidence Was Shattered, I Didn’t Know How To Deal With It Without My Mom’
Devoleena Bhattacharjee penned an emotional note, revealing how she suffered a serious injury during a pole task on Bigg Boss 15
Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee has recently undergone surgery after she suffered an injury during a task on Bigg Boss 15. For the unversed, during the pole task, she kept standing for almost 15 hours without anyone's help before falling and this led to a serious injury for which she'd have to get operated on. On Monday, the actress shared a video of herself where she is seen recovering at the hospital and walking around post her surgery. She also returned home and united with her dog.
Alongside the video, Devoleena penned a lengthy note where she shared her journey of recovery and also revealed how the past few months have been quite challenging for her. The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya wrote, “My BB15 journey was a roller coaster ride. I went through a lot of ups & downs be it mentally, physically or emotionally.As you all know, I got injured during the pole task and suffered from complete foot drop. Post my BB15 eviction, I had to go with immediate nerve decompression surgery.”
She added, “Well that was the time where my confidence was completely shattered and I didn’t know how to deal with it without my mom or brother around me and had no time to think over it (not even a day), so i immediately went through the surgery. In this difficult time my willpower and my faith in god was my strength.” Devoleena also thanked her mother, family members, fans and friends for their blessings and prayers. She concluded her heartfelt note by thanking herself for not giving up during these testing times. She also added the song ‘Dil Hai Chota Sa’ to the clip.
