Amidst the Coronavirus scare, a lot of celebrities are doing their best to spread awareness about the COVID-19. We spoke to Devoleena Bhattacharjee on what she thinks about the current situation in our country, in regards to the pandemic

Devoleena Bhattacharjee's STERN Message To Those Taking Coronavirus Lockdown Lightly: 'Will YOU Understand Only When 20 People Will Die Around You?'- EXCLUSIVE
While the Government is doing its best to combat the pandemic, COVID-19, the citizens of our country, well most of us, are following the rules. However, there still are many who are taking the situation lightly and not following the lockdown directives. 

A lot of celebrities like Akshay Kumar, have been constantly putting out videos, appealing people to stay put. We recently spoke to TV actress, Devoleena Bhattacharjee to know what she has been up to during the quarantine phase and also know what is her opinion on people who are still stepping out. "This is the time when we have to be patient and calm. You will have to trust the process and keep faith. This too shall pass. Jaan hai toh jahaan hai. I understand the plight of daily wage workers, it is a very tough time for them. A lot of them are saying- bhuke marna se aacha hai, Corona se marr jaaye, but I think that's a wrong way to go about the situation- that's not the solution, especially when the Govt. is saying it will help them out. You are not giving them a chance. Ek baar ghar baithke dekho toh. Solution niklenga, one at a time."

Devoleena was also quite shocked with what happened with 5000-6000 migrant workers in Delhi, "It was scary and shocking to see so many people gather at such a crucial time. I don't know what mess this will lead to."


The Saath Nibhana Sathiya actress is also mighty upset with those taking the lockdown lightly. She said, "See the countries around you, people are dying in thousands. India mein log woh hone ka wait kar rahe hai?Jab aapke area mein 20 log aapke aaknhon ke saamne marenge, tab samjhenge? People are roaming bindaas, unke wajah se jo log precautions le rahe hai, woh bhugtenge. Aap apni parwaah nahi kar rahe, theek hai, but don't put others at risk."

Lastly we asked Devoleena if follows news on social media and WhatsApp closely and she concluded by saying, "I don't believe in WhatsApp forwards. Don't read them at all. Just follow updates on authentic news portals."
