Ayushmann Khurrana, who is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Action Hero’ will be appearing on ‘Indian Idol 13’ to promote the film. From showcasing his singing talent to sharing some interesting anecdotes from his struggling days, Ayushmann will surely take up the entertainment quotient a notch higher this weekend. The actor also recalled how he along with Neha was rejected from the singing reality show on the same day.

Yes, you read that right! In a new promo shared by the makers, the Vicky Donor actor makes a surprising revelation that he and Neha were among the 50 people who got rejected on Indian Idol and travelled back home same day. Sony TV shared a promo of the episode on their Twitter handle and wrote, “Aap bhi samet lijiye inspiration Neha ji aur Ayushmann ji se! Aur miss mat kijiye Indian Idol 13 ka #IndiaKiFarmaish special! Iss Sat-Sun raat 8 baje, sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision par! #IndianIdol13 #IndianIdol.”

In the video, the Andhadhun actor says in Hindi, “Mei aur Neha ek hi din reject hue the Indian Idol se, aur hum train se vapis jare the Mumbai se Delhi, hum 50 log ek sath reject hue the. Neha could be seen laughing over Ayushmann's revelation, while the other judges lauded them. The episode featuring Khurrana will air this Saturday at 8:00 PM only on Sony Entertainment Television. The 38-year-old actor will also be visiting the popular celebrity comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as part of 'Action Hero' promotions.
