Dilip Joshi REACTS To His Daughter Sporting Grey Hair At Her Wedding: ‘Never A Point Of Discussion In Our House, Jo Jaisa Hai Woh Waisa Hi Theek Hai’

Dilip Joshi, who is widely known for playing Jethalal in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has recently opened up about his daughter Niyati Joshi sporting grey hair at her wedding. In an interview with Bombay Times, the actor revealed that his daughter was initially shocked when she started trending on social media for her grey hair, but they were glad she could inspire others. Dilip also mentioned that Niyati’s grey hair was never an issue for him and the family.
Dilip Joshi was quoted saying, “Keeping her grey hair as it is at her wedding was never an issue for us. We didn’t even imagine that people would react like this. It was never a point of discussion in our house. Jo jaisa hai woh waisa hi theek hai. Everyone reacted in such a positive way and I was happy to see that she has inspired others. I think this is how we should be; we present ourselves the way we are rather than putting on a mask.”
He added that Niyati was initially taken aback when she saw people talking about her grey hair on social media as she likes to keep a low profile. But then social media is something that we can’t control. “Anyway, it was a positive thing and we were fine with it. If this is something that has inspired people, then that’s great,” he further said.
Niyati Joshi got married to her boyfriend Yashovardhan Mishra on December 11 in an intimate wedding ceremony. Proud father Dilip Joshi shared beautiful photos from his daughter's wedding along with a note of gratitude on social media.
