This piece of news did not seem to go down well with the audience and show’s fans. So much so that one of the crazy and die-hard fans of the show has slit her wrist on learning about this news. The makers of Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke have decided to pull the plug of the show which was loved by one and all. This news of a fan slitting her wrist for the show has gone viral on social media. Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke actress shared a screenshot of the conversation with her sibling. The message read, “My sister did. See.” On seeing this horrific act by a fan the lead actress, the show Sonia Kaur shared the same story and urged all her fans to not get into such acts.
Her Insta story caption read, “Please don't do this. It's my humble request to #YRHPK fans. I know you guys are with us and I am so proud of you all but please don't take such a step." Meenakshi aka Rupal Patel also mentioned, "This is very shocking. This has happened all of sudden, which we'd not expected because fans liked the show very much. Soon, the surrogacy track had to start. Don't know why they've decided to end the show."
