Disha Parmar On Playing The Lead In Ekta Kapoor’s Show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2: 'I Can't Talk About It Right Now'
Newlywed Disha Parmar talks about being a part of Ekta Kapoor’s show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, which starred Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor in the first season.
Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Bade Acche Lagte Hain that starred Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor in the lead roles is all set to comeback with its season 2 but with a new cast and a storyline. The show has been making headlines ever the news broke out that Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar have been roped in to play lead roles in the sequel and a few days back, a BTS picture of both the actors shooting for a scene seems to have confirmed the same.
However, Disha and Nakuul have been tight-lipped about being a part of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 and maintained that they can’t talk about it at the moment. Recently, while addressing the media during her ad film, Disha, when quizzed if she is a part of the show, the actress said, “See, many things are being said and reported everywhere. But frankly, I can’t say anything right now. I will speak when I can.”
Earlier, actress Divyanka Tripathi had been offered to play the role of Priya in the upcoming season but Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 contestant turned it down saying that she couldn’t relate to the character.
During the live session, Divyanka stated, “Yes, I was offered Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 and I had even given a look test for the show. But I did not say yes to the show as I could not relate to the character. Whenever I take up any project I totally devote myself to it and it is like getting married to the role and if I am not convinced about the role, I will never do it. I couldn't feel like the character. Hence, I had to say no to Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2.”
