On Tuesday evening, strong earthquake tremors were felt in northern India after a 6.6 quake struck northern Afghanistan. An earthquake of magnitude 6.6 lasted for several seconds and caused a sense of panic among people as they rushed out of their homes. While everyone was left scared, TV actress Divyanka Tripathi shared her excitement over experiencing her first earthquake ever. She left everyone shocked after she said she finds the earthquake ‘exciting.’
Taking to her Twitter handle, the Ye Hai Mohabbatein actress shared a video where she was heard saying, “Okay this is very exciting because I’m experiencing my life’s first earthquake… Gali mohalla sab neeche aa gayi hai. Soon after she shared this video, netizens started to troll her and called Divyanka ‘insensitive.’ One netizen commented, “People were scared,was in the fear of losing their everything,n it was exciting for her seriously!.” Another user shared her video and wrote, “people panicking and scared for their life and this is exciting to you.” One of the angry netizens said, “please ask those who survive these disasters after losing their everything in the wake of the calamity: do they also find this exciting? after what syria and turkey faced just last month this is plain insensitive. even if you were excited there was no need to post about it!”
