Diya Aur Baati Hum actress Deepika Singh was also a victim of online trolling and body shaming. The actress was body shamed after she shared some of her pictures post her son Soham’s birth on her social networking account. In conversation with ETimes TV, the actress shared of taking criticism on her chin and turned it into her motivating factor. The actress received several nasty comments which spoke about how no one would sign her for work due to her body, why she would take a step when she was at peak of her career and so on. 
 
Speaking about body shaming, she mentioned randomly sharing a picture of her post her delivery on her birthday, but people neglecting the fact it was her birthday, just posted some really rude comments on her picture. She said, “I have been trolled a lot on social media especially for my weight gain. After giving birth to my son Soham I was 73 kgs and I had randomly shared a picture of mine without thinking much and it was my birthday, they started writing nasty stuff about me. They did not even think twice that it was my birthday. They started saying 'you are such a big actress, you should have waited', 'now you won't get any role', 'nobody will take her in a lead role', 'look at her how bad she is looking'."
 
Well all such comments did not bog her down instead, she screenshots these nasty comments and applied it as her wallpaper on her phone, thus motivating her to hit the gym. “But I took all these negative comments very seriously and that actually helped me to go to the gym regularly. It didn't matter, if I didn't sleep in the night, I regularly went to the gym. I took screenshots of all those comments and kept them as a wallpaper on my phone. Whenever I felt lazy these nasty comments helped me to hit the gym," she added. 
 

Revealing her workout deets she said, “I did cardio a lot and did cycling. I started enjoying working out and I started watching my diet as well.
