Actress Dolly Sohi, who was last seen in Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja starrer Jhanak, was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. She quit the show due to her ongoing treatment as her medical team had suggested a daily radiation routine for the next five weeks, post which she was scheduled to have surgery. However, on Tuesday morning, around 8 am, she was rushed to the hospital.
According to a report by Bollywood Life, she was rushed to the hospital after she complained of facing breathing issues. The report states that she was admitted to the hospital and is currently recovering well. Dollyw’s mother is with her in the hospital. Ever since her diagnosis, the Jhanak actress has been taking to her official social media handles to share updates about her life with her fans. Netizens have been showering her with love and motivation as she fights one of the hardest battles of her life.
On February 20, 2024, Sohi took to Instagram to share an Instagram post that read, “Prayers The world's greatest wireless connection.. Works like miracle so please I need your prayers.” Fans and netizens were quick to take to the comment section of her post. One wrote, “Love and Light, U r strong women.” Another wrote, “Our Prayers Always With You Dear @dolly_sohi Mam Aap zarur jeetkar.. Avoge..You Are Very Strong Person, Be strong Mam, Lots Of Love From Your.. On the work front, last seen in Jhanak as Srishti Mukherjee, Dolly Sohi was replaced by Poorva Gokhale. She has also starred in shows like Bhabhi, Kalash, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, and Khoob Ladi Mardaani Jhansi Ki Rani.
