Dostana 2’s Lakshya Lalwani's Heartfelt Note On TV Actor Manmeet Grewal’s Suicide, ‘Not All Of Us Are Privileged’
Before bagging a Dharma Production film, Dostana 2, Lakshya Lalwani was a TV actor. He has featured in quite a few TV shows in the past and today, he is heartbroken to see another TV actor committing a suicide. Lakshya recently took to his Instagram handle and shared a heartfelt note about Aadat Se Majboor actor Manmeet Grewal who committed suicide at his Kharghar residence on Friday night (May 15), claimed a report on Times Of India. This news has not only shocked his family, friends and colleagues but his friend Lakshya too. It is reported Manmeet committed suicide because of the financial crisis and was under stress as he had unpaid dues and no work.

Taking it to his Insta feed, his note read, “We are TV actors. We get paid on a per day basis. There are times when we shoot for 25 days a month, and there are times when we’d shoot for just 5 days a month. Just like any individual, we too have bills to pay and a majority of us live in rented apartments. Our job security is as uncertain as our working hours.” He also wrote that not all are privileged to drive expensive cars or go to Bastian for Sunday brunches, “Not all of us drive expensive cars or go to Bastian for Sunday brunches. You’ll often spot us on the road and recognise us solely by our characters names, and sometimes not recognise us at all.”

His note further mentioned how Diwali bonuses and incentives don’t exist in their world as there are some who are challenged in these unprecedented times, “Phrases like ‘Diwali bonuses’ and incentives don’t exist in our world. This lockdown has not been the same for all of us. While some of us are privileged, there are some who are challenged in these unprecedented times.”

“To Manmeet, and his whole family, may god bless you, and give you strength. Godspeed, my brother” Lakshya’s note concluded.  ALSO READ: Bigg Boss 13: Details Of Rashami Desai's TORRID LOVE AFFAIR With Janhvi Kapoor's Dostana 2 Co-Star Lakshya
