Much to our dismay, the number of people being tested positive with Coronavirus in the country is increasing day by day and the virus is taking a serious toll on the people’s health. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic and India currently saw more than 100 confirmed cases. With so much going on in the world, government has announced to shut down various places like gyms, malls, theatres, auditoriums, dance classes and many more. Even the shoot of daily soap operas that are been held every day in various regions is been asked to shut down. Speaking on the same, Kasautii Zindagii 2 actress Erica Fernandes is glad that they have taken this decision and that the shoot has been stalled due to coronavirus.
Talking about it, Erica Fernandes told Pinkvilla that this is not a forced holiday but they have taken this decision for safety measures. She also mentioned the struggle of TV actors who have to shoot every single day without any public holiday and week offs. She is glad that the actors can now take care of themselves while getting their health back on track.
She was quoted saying, "This is not a forced holiday but its rather a safety measure. And of course, when people out there are working day in and day out to entertain the masses, the first concern is their own health. So this break is more for us taking care of ourselves and getting our health back on track. I am glad this action has been taken because actors usually do not have the luxury of taking offs or leaving early when sick and there are no weekend, offs or public holidays taken into consideration, so this move is more of a necessity for us."
Meanwhile, in the upcoming episode of Kasautii Zindagii 2, the lady is back again after 8 years of a leap but this time she has become feisty and dangerous as vengeance is running in her blood after Anurag Basu pushed her off the roof. Erica has not only changed her behaviour but has also changed her look and she is looking absolutely stunning.
