Kangana Ranaut's interview with Republic TV created a stir in the industry, as she spoke about nepotism, while she supported late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans demanding for justice. Sushant died by suicide on June 14. Without mincing worrds, the actress gave out names of the people from the industry, urging officials in charge of SSR’s case to summon them for investigation. While some stars from the Bollywood and TV industry chose to remain silent on it, few spoke up and supported Kangana for her fierceness.
One of them is TV actress Erica Fernandes, who is winning hearts with her portrayal of Prerna in popular TV show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actress has appreciated Manikarnika actress' guts to speak about it and raise her voice regarding this ongoing debate on nepotism. In a virtual interaction with Siddharth Kannan when asked if she is crazy about Kangana, she said, “Kangana, I like Kangana. Yes, I also admire her, but I’m a huge fan of Deepika, I love Kangana for her, I Think she has gut, she has the guts”

On the work front, after her co-star Parth Samthaan tested positive for COVID-19 followed by 3 more members in the team of the TV show, Erica has been shooting from home for the same. The actress is working almost 12 hours everyday making sure, she fulfills her work commitments and doesn’t leave the makers as well as her audience disappointed.
