Ex-Bigg Boss 16 Contestant Tina Datta Alleges That Shalin Bhanot Tried To Hit Her Once; Says, ‘Tried To Bring Out His Real Image, It Backfired’

One of the most controversial couples on Bigg Boss 16 are undoubtedly Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot. Their relationship has been like a rollercoaster, which made the fans glad that it was over. For the unversed, they started the season by being lovey dovey with each other, confessing their love for one another to claiming that they are only friends to expressing how they don’t even know each other that well to abusing each other and questioning the others’ character on National television.
Not only had they dragged Sumbul Touqeer Khan in their mess of a relationship but even their parents had gotten involved. Now during an interaction with ETimes, Tina expressed how she regrets ever connecting with Shalin as it ruined her game. She even recalled the time when he got aggressive while questioning her character, that he even tried to hit her. She told the entertainment publication, “I absolutely repent getting connected and linked with Shalin Bhanot on Bigg Boss. Had I not met him or been friends with him on the show my journey would have been so different and nice. The Uttara actress, who has been very vocal about her hat for the actor, revealed that Shalin acting on the reality show for so long has left her surprised. Calling the 39-year-old actor a good actor rather than a better person, she said, “I always thought that no one can put up an act on a reality show like Bigg Boss for so long but Shalin has proved me wrong. He has acted for so many months. Hats off to him!”
For the uninitiated, Sumbul Touqeer Khan was evicted from the house on Saturday. Now the show has six contestants - Shalin, Shiv Thakare, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, MC Stan, Archana Gautam and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Everyone is waiting with baited breath to see how the future episodes of the show leading up to the finale will pan out, fans have already declared their favourite contestants the winner.
