FIGHT GETS UGLIER: Now, Bhabi Ji...Producers File Criminal Defamation Case Against Shilpa Shinde
Binaifer and Sanjay Kohli have hit back at Shilpa Shinde with the case after she filed an FIR against the latter accusing him of sexual harassment
Days after we told you that Shilpa Shinde has
slapped a sexual harassment case against the producer of her former show (Bhabi
Ji Ghar Par Hai) Binaifer Kohli’s husband- Sanjay Kohli, things have taken a
turn for the worse.
The producer duo of Sanjay and Binaifer have hit back at
the actress by filing a criminal defamation case against her. Reports suggest
that the two have enough proof to counter Shilpa's claims in the FIR, which
will be contested in court.

A leading daily got in touch with Binaifer for more
details on the action, however, she maintained, “Let the law take its course.”
A couple of days ago, news of Shilpa Shinde having filed
a defamation case against IFTPC (Indian Film and TV Producers Council), CINTAA
(Cine and TV Artists Association) and FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine
Employees) also did the rounds whereby she had alleged that the three
federations dissuaded their members from working with her.
In the regard, JD Majethia, co-chairman of IFTPC told a
leading daily, "We haven't received any notice from the actress yet. Our
future course of action will be decided by our legal advisors once we receive
the copy."

Addressing the ongoing feud between the Bhabi Ji
producers and the actress, he says, "We will support our member (Sanjay
and Binaifer), who brought the issue to our notice. Neither the actress nor her
association (CINTAA) has approached us with the issue yet. And as Binaifer told
us that if there was an incident of sexual harassment, why wasn't it raised
last year? In fact, the actress continued visiting the set and sending text
messages to her. So, there is no reason for us to not support our member in the
harassment case."
