Ganesh Chaturthi 2020 festival has brought in happiness, positivity and closeness amongst the loved ones. The festival which is always celebrated with much fanfare is slowly coming to an end as we see many are bidding farewell to their Ganpati Bappa. As we speak of this, after welcoming the Ganesh idol at home on August 22, Shweta Tiwari and her daughter Palak Tiwari bid adieu to Ganpati Bappa. The actress recently took to her Instagram stories and shared a bunch of photos and videos on her page where Shweta and Palak gave Ganpati Bappa a sweet farewell by performing an eco-friendly visarjan at home which is the best option, considering the pandemic spread in the country and also to lessen water pollution.
We see Shweta and Palak carrying the idol and immersing it in a decorated bucket at home while the Ganpati bhajan plays in the background. As she gave a final goodbye, Shweta even shared a few pictures on her page where we can see her with her son Reyansh. She captioned it as, "Vibe #ganeshvisarjan.' Shweta is dressed in a pretty yellow-blue kurti, while Reyansh can be seen sporting a sleeveless ikat print shirt and short denim pants. When they welcomed the lord home, Shweta’s daughter Palak also posted some pictures from the celebrations, which she captioned as, “We welcome you with our whole heart Bappa.”
So far, celebs like Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Ananya Panday, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Shraddha Kapoor have bid goodbye to the lord by opting for eco-friendly visarjan amidst Coronavirus pandemic.
