Gaurav Sareen: I Used To Watch Udaan When I Was In 10th Standard
We’ve seen lots of shows undergoing time leaps and Udaan is the latest one to witness it. You may recall that we had run a story around actress Meera Deosthale quitting the show as she didn’t want to play mother to an 18-year-old. Now, as Krishna Chali London actor Gaurav Sareen and Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress Tanya Sharma will be entering the show as the new lead pair, we spoke exclusively to Gaurav who confirmed his entry. Read on:

“It's just a week that I got to know about the leap. I auditioned for the show and it happened. I am very excited as I am playing Sameer who is a college going student and comes from a lower middle class family who eventually falls in love with a super rich girl.”

Talking about his previous show and the abrupt ending of his character Radhe, Gaurav said, "I do miss my character and more than me my fans miss it. As I keep getting messages that you do a comeback. We are missing you. No one can replace your presence. TRP's are going down due to your absence. And it makes me feel so good. But at times it becomes difficult also to handle them as they start abusing the producers and makers for ending my character. Today morning also I shared a post to calm them down and inform that I am doing a comeback. Although I also miss the show and I wanted to be part of at least for 4-5 years. After all it was my first show my first character on screen so you can understand how close I was".

When asked was he following the show before, Gaurav replied, "You know what I am excited to be part of the show also because I used to watch this show when I was in 10th standard. And I didn't know that one day I will turn the main lead of the show".
