Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega Actor Nishant Malkani Never Goes To The Set Without A Foot Stool; Here's Why?
Actor Nishant Malkani takes a foot stool to his serial set because he is too tall for other actors! Isn't that considerate enough ?!
TV actor Nishant Malkani who is essaying the role of Akshat Jindal in Zee TV's show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega, never goes to the set without a foot stool. The actor who has a height of 6.2 is too tall for his co-actors, and that makes them stand on the stool while shooting with him. As Unusual it may sound, it is true.
Talking to Bombay Times, Nishant said,“The first thing people notice about me is my height. Many tell me that they feel tiny around me. However, they find it surprising that I don’t look that tall on screen. How do I tell them that it is all about the camera angles and also, that most of my co-actors stand on a stool while shooting with me. The challenge is not for me, but for my co-actors, the DoP and cameraman. Besides, Kanika Mann and Dalljiet Kaur, who has to stand on the stool while shooting with me.”

Dalljiet also agrees to Nishant as she mentions,“I'm 5’7” and most of my co-stars have been of the same height. However, it is different shooting with Nishant. On the first day, I had to shoot a romantic scene with him, but it looked weird as he is quite tall. So, I was given a small stool to stand on. This has happened for the first time in my career. Shooting with Nishant leads to hilarious situations off screen.”
Coming back to his show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega, post the launch of the show Nishant exclusively gave us the reason to watch the show, "Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega is a feel good show. It's rid of all high intensity drama. Our only focus is making the audience happy. In this show, there is a girl who is too innocent and carefree and who tries to do something and ends goofing up. At the same time, she is with a boy who is extremely supportive, very intensely involved with her and always protective. So, the chemistry between them is quite relatable. I personally feel that’s one of the major reasons why you should watch Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. It’s just a nice feel good entertaining show".
