Love is in the air for TV actor Rehaan Roy, who’s currently seen in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega as Inspector Parv Singh. He has found the girl of his dreams. The actor admitted that he’s in love and is currently dating Kolkata-based Bengali actress Jasmine Roy. Rehaan spilled the beans on his love story to Bombay Times and said, “Jasmine was my co-star in a Bengali show and we hit it off instantly. People around us assumed us to be a couple, but we were just friends back then. It’s only after I came back to Mumbai that I started missing her. However, I could not express my feelings, as she was already dating someone at that time. Unfortunately, that relationship wasn’t meant to be, and we realised that we have a special connection. I proposed to her and I am glad that she accepted my love.”
Is marriage on their minds anytime soon? The actor said, “We are committed to each other, but marriage will have to wait, as both of us are busy with our respective careers. We are also exploring each other at present and need to give our relationship some time before we decide to take the next step. Friendship is the backbone of our relationship. We understand each other very well. What I also like about Jasmine the most is her straightforwardness. She is also my critic and can be blunt sometimes. I am in love with my best friend.”
Further Jasmine added, “Rehaan entered my life like a bright sunny day when I was fighting my darkest nights. It’s a blessing when you find love in your best friend. We have been friends for more than four years. I don’t want to ponder about the past or worry about the future. As of now, we want to give our 100 per cent to our present and I am sure that the future will be better than we have imagined.” He concluded saying, “We are working on it and Jasmine is planning to move to Mumbai soon.”
