Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega Actress Kanika Mann Takes Ayurvedic Medicine Before Resuming Shoot, 'Mein Toh Bus Bhagwan Bharosey'
As shootings for a lot of television shows go on floors amid the Coronavirus pandemic after a long break of almost three months, the makers are leaving no stone unturned in ensuring their crew and cast's safety on the sets. Something similar is the case of Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, a popular Zee TV show. In a conversation with Times Of India, its lead actress Kanika Mann opened up on the kind of precautions the makers are taking to take care of everyone's safety. Well, other than maintaining the hygiene standards, wearing masks and using sanitizers, they are also taking the traditional route of consuming ayurvedic medicines.

Kanika reveals how the show's producer gave all of them a couple of ayurvedic tablets to improve their immunity. "Our producer gave all of us three Ayurvedic tablets that are supposed to be repeated in a cycle for three days," said the actress. She added, "All of us took that medicine. I guess it is to improve the immunity." She, however, doesn't take any multi-vitamins or tablets and swears by the natural immunity booster, that is, turmeric milk instead. "Mein toh bus bhagwan bharosey hun," she says jokingly. Kanika further states, "I am not a supplements person or a pill popper, I am very bad with medicines. But the one thing that I did do was to have haldi wala dudh, which I keep having on sets throughout the shoot."

"I believe in this ancient science of Indian healing system as was imbibed in my by my parents. Hopefully, and the by the grace of god, we will all remain healthy," continues the actress.

Upon being asked about returning to work amid such a crucial time, Kanika said, "Initially I was very anxious about returning to Mumbai when shooting resumed and we were called. But once I came on sets, and saw that they are taking very good care and strict precautions, my anxiety settled down. I love being on camera, so I guess once that started rolling, nothing else stayed in my mind."
