Happy Father’s Day 2020: Sumeet Vyas Wants His Little Man Ved To Imbibe THIS Quality From Him
On Father’s day this year, Sumeet Vyas spills the beans on what kind of bond he would like to share with his newborn son
Actor Sumeet Vyas just embraced fatherhood with the birth of his little boy, Ved, on June 4, 2020. Ekta Kaul and Sumeet welcomed their first child together amidst of the lockdown, and before Ekta was ready to pop, the excited parents too dropped several Instagram posts, expressing of their excitement at welcoming their little bundle of joy. This year also marks special as the actor gets to celebrate his first father’s day with his newborn. Thrilled about this journey, he shares what kind of rapport he would like to have with his son as he grows up.
In conversation with Hindustan Times, he shared his father B.M. Vyas had a balanced parenting aspects and he would like to pick few points from there to raise his son. He says, “My father was very open, and never interfered with what I did. He always encouraged me to go ahead with my decisions. He let me explore a bunch of things what I wanted to do. I’m sure he knew probably that it wasn’t the best choice but he let me do it. That’s the most important thing — to let people explore their own possibilities and come to their own conclusion.”
Also expressing about having an easy bond with son, while he grows up, he says, “I hope I’m well equipped to help him out when he comes to me to discuss anything — emotional, financial or anything else. Also, one thing that I’d like him to learn from me is to never give up in any situation in life.”
As we mentioned Ved is one of the babies born during the lockdown, the actor’s feels narrating this story to him will make him understand the value of life. “I want to give a very philosophical point of view. He should have gratitude for what he has. I’ll teach him that no matter what one is going through, never take anything for granted – family, success, relationship or money. Currently discovering new aspect of parenthood with his wife Ekta Kaul, he said, “So far, it has been good and lovely. My wife Ekta (Kaul) and I, are discovering something new every day. I’m still quite clueless and so is she. We don’t know what the baby really wants when he cries.”
