Mohit Malik Tests Positive For COVID-19: Producer Rashmi Sharma Says, 'In Touch With Our Entire Team, Their Health Is Our Priority'- EXCLUSIVE
After Lockdown Ki Love Story actor Mohit Malik informed everyone about testing positive for COVID-19, his show's producer, Rashmi Sharma has also released a statement about the precautions being taken on the set

Mohit Malik took to Instagram to share the news of him contracting Coronavirus. The Lockdown Ki Love Story actor revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19, while his pregnant wife Addite Malik is safe. He also informed them that both of them have isolated themselves. Malik even requested everyone who has come in close contact with him, to exercise caution and take the necessary tests if they show any symptoms.
And now, show's producer Rashmi Sharma has released a statement from her end, stating what precautions they are taking from their end as the actor was shooting on the sets till a few days before he got his results positive. Rashmi in her statement said, "Actor Mohit Malik who is an integral part of the show Lockdown Ki Love Story has tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, he received medical help and quarantined himself. Immediately thereupon the entire cast and crew were isolated and tested. The BMC is informed and the sets will be fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. Currently, the artist is receiving medical attention and under home quarantine. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. Mohit while sharing the news, had mentioned in his post, "Yesterday I caught fever and our first impulse was to get a Covid test done, which has come out positive. Addite is fortunately safe, but we are both isolated and I have quarantined myself. I request all those who were in touch with me for the past few days to exercise caution and take the necessary tests if any symptoms show or even otherwise, as a safety measure. Let’s pray and hope that we get over this rough tide, not just us, but whoever is going through this and let us hope to start living again in a safe and secure environment.”
Mohit Malik and Addite Malik are expecting their first child. And his ongoing show is scheduled to go off air at the end of this month. But it seems there may be changes in plan as the actor is quarantined at present.
