Himansh Kohli Blames Neha Kakkar For Their UGLY Breakup, ‘She Did Not Want To Continue, I Faced The Backlash’
Himansh Kohli has finally opened up on his controversial breakup with ex-girlfriend Neha Kakkar and said that she was the one who wanted to separate from him
It was sometime last year that Neha Kakkar and Himansh Kohli announced separation, which also gave birth to an ugly controversy after Neha claimed of going into depression and attempting suicide. Ever since then, Himansh Kohli has been at the receiving end of criticism and hatred and he was being blamed for Neha’s condition. The actor, however, has finally opened up on his side of the story in an interview with an entertainment portal. As per Himansh, Neha was the one who wanted to split and he came across as the villain.
To TOI, the actor said that since Neha didn’t want to continue, they mutually broke-up; however, things took a u-turn and people would bash him. He said, “Several things had happened back then, but I never wanted to talk about them. All I want to say is that she did not want to continue. So, we mutually decided to part ways. She decided to move on in life, I respected it. But in no time, the entire story took a turn. Each time she put up a post on social media, I had to face the backlash.”
Further, upon receiving hatred for breaking up with Neha and being labeled as a ‘heartless’ and ‘selfish’ boyfriend, Himansh said that no one wanted to listen to his side of the story and that people were quick to judge him. “Today things have settled down, but yes, there was a time when the entire world was cursing me on social media. No one wanted to know the real story. I was crowned as the villain overnight,” he said.
Himansh added, “It was extremely saddening as I was not saying anything and people were drawing their conclusions based on what Neha was putting out. She cried on shows and everyone believed that only I was to blame. I wanted to cry too, but then we tend to put up a brave front. Himansh also said that he was hurt by how people accused him of using Neha for fame. He, in fact, revealed how he had done four films before meeting Neha and he was making good money. He also thanked Neha for clearing the accusations of him cheating on her.
