To manage GERD during Ramadan, individuals can follow certain practices such as avoiding overeating, eating slowly, staying hydrated, and refraining from immediate sleep after meals. Consuming alkaline-rich foods, avoiding high carb and fatty foods before bedtime, and trying home remedies like apple cider vinegar or baking soda solutions can also provide relief from GERD symptoms.

It's essential to note that these remedies may not work for everyone, and individuals experiencing worsening symptoms should consult healthcare professionals or religious advisors for personalized guidance. By incorporating these tips and seeking appropriate support, individuals can effectively manage GERD during the sacred month of Ramadan. The festive period comes in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting.
