Hina Khan Crowned Television Star Of The Decade; Vikaas Kalantri-Amruta Khanvilkar Say ‘You Deseve All The Accolades’
As the Television and now-Bollywood actress Hina Khan is been bestowed with the Television Star Of The Decade award, the Hacked actress says that she wants to pass the prejudices, stereotypes and frowns
Hina Khan who rose to fame after starring in a daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehta Hai is now one of the popular faces in the television as well as in the Bollywood industry. The actress then went on to feature in some high-rated shows like Bigg Boss 11 where we got to see her real side and Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 where she played a vamp, Komolika. But before even entering the Bollywood world, she marked her presence at the Cannes Film Festival, looking stunning on the red carpet. As she has achieved so much in such little time, Khan has now been bestowed with the Television Star Of The Decade award. The Hacked actress took to her Instagram account to flaunt her gold award.
While sharing the picture of herself posing next to her award, she said that she wants to pass the prejudices, stereotypes and frowns. She captioned it as, "#TelevisionStarOfTheDecade As all great journeys go.. mine as well started with one single step. A challenge I took up, more than a decade ago.. And ever since I am all about taking up new challenges and my dedication to move forward, pass the prejudices, stereotypes and frowns. Ahead always seems like a good choice to me so thanks @vikaaskalantri for this recognition. Much appreciation!"
After this post was made, Vikaas Kalantri also commented on the post saying, "You totally deserve it Princess. Your transition and growth has been phenomenal. More power to you." While Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 contestant Amruta Khanvilkar also left a comment, "My fav you deserve all the accolades darling."
On the work-life, Hina Khan is currently winning accolades for her performance in Hacked which is about a 19-year-old kid who is obsessed with Hina Khan’s character who plays a high profile businesswoman. Rohan Shah who plays the obsessive and abusive boy stalks her on the Internet and pulls out all her private data with her boyfriend and tries to blackmail her in order to sleep with him. He hacks Hina’s life.
Hacked was released on February 7, 2020, along with Disha Patani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu starrer Malang.
