Renowned television actress Hina Khan enjoys a huge base. She rose to fame by essaying the role Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and has been impressing the audience with her exceptional acting chops. Being an avid social media user, she often takes to her official handles to post pictures and videos from her outings. The actress accompanied her family to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. She had taken to Instagram to share pictures and reels from her outing. She looked beautiful as she embraced her religion and was seen donning different coloured abayas and showing off the beauty of the masjid she visited. However, it didn’t go down well with the netizens as they brutally trolled her. It got to the point where she had to turn off the comments section of the posts. As reported by ETimes, fans were left upset watching her pose and ‘doing photoshoots’ in traditional outfits at the holy place. Many went as far as to tell her to be a little considerate. Shaming her, another one wrote, “Shame on you Hina. Being a celebrity at least you should show some sense of responsibility. It's looking more like a photoshoot. This is our holy place. Respect the place please.” Other wrote, “Maldives, Bali, London, NYC, Switzerland etc are now passee. People now go to pilgrimage sites like Mecca, Medina, Vaishnodevi, Golden temple etc for photoshoot!.”
This is not the first time, Hina has been targeted by the trolls, however, like always she never pays any heed to the naysayers and continues to be a role model for aspiring young women.
