Hina Khan's Short Film, SmartPhone's Trailer Launch CANCELLED In The Wake Of COVID-19- Exclusive

Hina Khan was set to entertain fans one more time with her upcoming short film titled SmartPhone. The makers were supposed to release its motion picture yesterday. Followed by the trailer this week but due to the Coronavirus scare, the whole plan has been delayed for now

Hina Khan was set to entertain fans one more time with her upcoming short film titled SmartPhone. The film starring Hina Khan, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Akshay Oberoi in main leads was supposed to release its motion picture yesterday. Followed by the trailer this week but due to the Coronavirus impact, the whole plan has been delayed for now.   

The much awaited short film's motion picture was supposed to be revealed on Sunday (15 March, 2020) and the trailer was planned to launch on March 18, followed by media interactions. However, the event has been postponed in light of the current Coronavirus pandemic. 


We came to know it was Vibhu Agarwal, CEO of Ullu Digital Pvt. Ltd. who decided to reschedule the event. When contacted he told us, "COVID-19 has been defined officially as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). The health and safety of actors, media people and our PR team is my priority number one. In light of all this, we decided to postpone the trailer launch."

Talking about the film, not much has been revealed but Hina's desi look from the film grabbed a lot of eye balls. Sharing her look from the film, Hina had tweeted, "My love for acting has brought me many challenges and I love challenging myself. Transition from a certain image improves my ability to enact and play something completely different.Versatility is breaking out of the regular,I tried hope u’ll like it! #SmartPhone coming soon"



Looks like Hina Khan's fans will have to wait for some more time to see her on screen again. The short film is produced by Vibhu Agarwal and co-produced by Aditya Bhatia, Ashish Kapoor and Ankush Bhatt.
