Hina Khan Says ‘As An Actor, I Lost A Year’; Reveals She Is Sad That She Didn’t Shoot All Of Last Year Due To The COVID-19 Pandemic
Television’s most loved-Hina Khan has managed to entertain her massive fan base on social media with her posts, during the lockdown. She constantly shared videos and photos, giving fans a sneak-peek of what’s happening. Just like every other industry out there, the film and television industry also faced a massive blow due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Celebrities, who spend their days shooting were making the most out of their time, at home, during the quarantine break. Now, Hina Khan expressed her regrets over not being able to work during the pandemic.

Hina Khan, who marked her Bollywood debut with the film Hacked opened up about how she lost a year as an actor during the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking with Hindustan Times, the beautiful actress said, “I am sad that I didn’t shoot all of last year. As an actor, I lost a year. I believe that I lost out on many opportunities, with regards to meeting good people, social gatherings and network. Not meeting people, as we did earlier, makes a lot of difference.” Talking about work and how an actor gets the next project based on the earlier work, she added, “You don’t know who picks you up for which project based on your connect with them. I lost out on a lot of learning experience as I didn’t work on new projects. I don’t have any project lined up in 2021 as yet. Yet, I consider myself one of the lucky ones as I had multiple projects release this year.”

The Hacked actress continued to talk about the risks one takes while shooting and said, “Every few days, we hear about actors and technicians testing positive, even ones shooting out of Mumbai. So, working on a set every day and meeting so many people is risky as well.” She added, “I have been stepping out and working but the virus is always on my mind.” The actress said that although she has performed at an awards event recently she was nervous and petrified because dancers were picking her and her dancing in a group. She also mentioned that she stayed away from her parents for a couple of days because of the fear of contracting the virus.
