Hina Khan Takes A Stand For Ekta Kapoor Amid Her XXX Uncensored Controversy Against Hindustani Bhau; Says Rape Threats Are NOT Justified
From a very long time, the internet is buzzing with Ekta Kapoor VS Bigg Boss 13 Hindustani Bhau's feud over the controversy surrounding former's web show XXX Uncensored on ALTBalaji. It all started after Bhau lodged an FIR against the TV czarina for allegedly mocking the Indian Army and its uniform in her show's one of the scenes. The FIR was soon dismissed after Ekta got the scene deleted. Soon after, Ekta broke her silence on getting rape threats on social media. Now, Hina Khan has come forth to lend her support to Kapoor by putting out a series of tweets.

In her post, Hina Khan stated how she stands for a fellow woman for not surrendering to online bullying and rape threats. "As a woman, I stand with you, for other women, for not submitting to bullying and threats. Our position gives us a lot of exposure and makes us vulnerable for unexpected oppressive remarks. But we have to stand up and support each other period! #StandUpWoman," read her tweet. In response to which, a fan accused Hina of also supporting the fact that Ekta disrespected the Indian Army. The actress was quick to take notice and respond.

She wrote, "Should not be acceptable to any of us, but that unintentional mistake was rectified. Wasn’t it? Would you justify though the threats of rape against her and her family? A mistake on a fictional show should Harass a real woman and her family? You are a woman yourself, you tell me?"

Ekta Kapoor, in a conversation with OP India, kept her stance by saying, "The moment the issue was raised, the platform made necessary amends and removed the scene altogether. We also unconditionally apologise to the army and army wives if we have unintentionally hurt their sentiments." Read the full story here.
