Hina Khan To Make Her Bollywood Debut Soon
After Mouni Roy, Hina Khan is all set to make a foray in films. She’s been missing from the popular show Kasautti Zindagii Kay 2 for quite some time now and now we know why
Hina Khan’s absence from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, is attributed to the fact that she is secretly filming for something else. Any guesses what could it be? Well, the pretty lady is making a transition from TV to films. Yes, Hina will be making her Bollywood debut soon.
The actress spoke to TOI recently and said, “It’s a female-centric story. I also love the fact that it’s set in a time and place, where we are away from the hustle and bustle of city life, technology, daily rush and competition. I am also thrilled about challenging myself in a brand new medium.” Remember, how Hina had been sharing videos and pictures on her Instagram stories of learning to ride a bike? Well, it's for this film.
Talking of the film, TOI reports that Hina will soon begin shooting. She will be playing a responsible and independent girl. Reportedly, the story will be set in the 1990s of Kashmir. Farida Jalal will portray Hina's grandmother in the movie. Directed by Hussain Khan, the yet-untitled project has been written by Rahat Kazmi and Shakti Singh. Rahat is also producing the film.

Talking about Hina missing in action from Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, she said to TOI, “I had prior commitments and the production house was informed about it before I was even signed on to play Komolika. Since the show hasn’t even completed six months, the makers didn’t want my track to start and then disappear for a bit. I will start shooting for the show immediately after my film’s shoot.”
Well, it’s double celebrations for her fans. Not only will they get to see Hina as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, but they will also see her on the 70 mm screen soon. Let's wait and watch who will be signed as the male lead opposite Hina in the film. Watch this space for more updates.
