Hina Khan To No Longer Play Komolika In Kausautii Zindagii Kay 2; Jasmin Bhasin In Talks To Replace Her
According to a report, Hina Khan who played the iconic vamp role Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, will no longer be a part of the show. The search for the new Komolika is on and Ekta Kapoor is on the lookout for a replacement.
Popular Television actress Hina Khan has a huge following due to some of her iconic roles in television shows. She is very famously known for playing Akshara in the TV programme Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and another one of her roles that left a mark would have to be the iconic vamp role Komolika in the reboot of the 2000’s show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Her role as Komolika and her look had instantly become the talk of the town and fans loved seeing her in this character. However, the actress left the show mid-way in March due to her prior commitments towards films. The actress went on to pursue her Bollywood career and her character Komolika was killed on the show, but it was obvious that Komolika would be back.
Now, the vamp will once again return on the show, but Hina Khan will no longer play the part. As per a report in BollywoodLife, Hina Khan won’t be returning on the show and will be replaced by another actress instead. The search for the new Komolika is on and according to BollywoodLife’s sources, a number of actresses like Ragini Khanna, Madhurima Tuli, Ansha Sayyed, Riddhi Dogra, Ragini Khanna, Disha Parmar and Sanaya Irani were suggested by the team to Ekta Kapoor. However, she denied them all and according to the report Television actress Jasmin Bhasin is in the final talks to replace Hina Khan as Komolika. However, nothing has been confirmed as of now.
Fans of Hina Khan and Kasautii Zindagii Kay are sure to be shocked and disappointed with this piece of news as Hina Khan played the role and was very convincing as Komolika. Earlier, Hina Khan had mentioned leaving the show post-March and when asked if she planned on making a comeback later, she said it depended on the situation and that she may or may not come back.
