India’s Best Dancer contestant Sanket Gaonkar’s father passed away due to throat cancer, former informs his fans via an Instagram post
Sanket Gaonkar who was seen in a series of dance reality shows informed his fans about the sad demise of his father. The contestant’s father was suffering from throat cancer and passed away on December 26, 2021. Sharing some throwback pictures of his now late father from their happy times, he penned in the caption, “Rest in Peace Papa God keep him happy forever I love you papa Gonna miss you my whole life & See you in heaven one day #mysuperhero #restinpeace #papa”
Currently seen on the ongoing season of India’s Best Dancer he gave a miss to the weekend episode which got his fans worried. His colleagues and followers on Instagram paid their condolences to the family. Winner of Dance Deewane 2 Piyush Gurbele, commenting on this heartfelt post of Sanket asked him to stay strong, while he prayed for the former’s father’s soul to rest in peace. His comment read, “Stay strong bhai ! RIP UNCLE” Winner of Super Dancer Chapter 4, Florina Gogoi, too prayed for his soul to rest in peace, her comment read, “rest in peace uncle ji”

As reported in TV9 Hindi.com. his father was detected with throat cancer two months ago. Hence, Sanket was using all his income for his treatment. Also, the treatment required Sanket to pump more money; he decided to participate in India’s Best Dancer. When the judges of this dance reality show, learnt about it, they too helped him, host Maniesh Paul also served a place for his father on the sets, stating whenever he recovers he shall sit at a certain place when he visits the sets.
