After Arjun Kapoor, girlfriend Malaika Arora tested positive for Coronavirus, a day back. Malaika, who was judging dance reality show India’s Best Dancer, had taken to Insta, yesterday, to confirm her contracting the disease. After two contestants, Malaika was the 3rd one to test positive for COVID-19 from the sets of India’s Best Dancer. As Malaika Arora has been asked to quarantine for two weeks, guess who has been roped to fill in her place?
Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has come onboard to replace Malaika Arora as India’s Best Dancer. Nora will share the judging panel with choreographer Geeta Kapur and Terence Lewis. Confirming the development, the producer of the show Ranjeet Thakur told TOI, "Earlier, we felt that there was not much time left to rope in another special judge on such short notice. But, thankfully, Nora who had come as a special guest for an earlier episode, will step in again this week as a special judge. I am thankful that she has agreed. Malaika will come back on the show after she recovers from COVID-19.”
Nora’s shoot as the judge for the show will commence on Thursday or Friday, this week. A few weeks back, Nora had appeared on the show as a guest.
Informing her fans and followers Malaika took to Insta and wrote, “Today I have tested positive for coronavirus but I want to inform you all that I am feeling fine. I am asymptomatic and following all the required protocols and will be quarantined at home as instructed by my doctor and authorities. I request all of you to stay calm and safe.
