When it comes to reality-shows, dance is a genre everyone loves to watch. From celebrity dance reality shows to common people, India has many shows that certainly cannot be counted on fingers. After gruelling rounds of auditions and mega auditions, the judges Geeta Kapur, Terence Lewis and Sonali Bendre have finally chosen their best 13 dances who will be competing for in the third season of India’s Best Dancer. As reported by Pinkvilla, the upcoming weekend will see the ‘Behtareen Teerah’ start their journeys on the show along with their pair choreographer.
The upcoming season promises the viewers an array of talented dancers who have specialised in many dance forms. The show has Akshay Pal from Madhya Pradesh and Boogie LLB from West Bengal who left everyone spellbound with his popping skills. According to the entertainment portal, Norbu Tamang and Sushmita Tamang from West Bengal became the Rahul and Anjali of the season as they left everyone gushing with their friendship. Their power-packed solo performances left the judges mesmerised.
Hansvi Tonk from Uttar Pradesh’s beautiful kathak rendition on ‘Oh Ho Ho Ho’ garnered her a standing ovation from Terence and Geeta. Maharashtra’s Samarpan Lama’s beautiful contemporary dance impressed the judges. Shivam Wankhede’s, who also hails from Maharashtra, Bollywood style performance entertained the judges a lot. Hailing from Delhi, Viput Khandpan created magic on the stage with his high on emotions performance. New Delhi’s Aniket was given the title of ‘Charlie Chaplin of Dance’ by Terence Lewis for his freestyle performance.
Other than that there is Anjali Mamgai from Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh’s Shivanshu Soni, Apeeksha Londhe from Maharashtra, Ram Bisht from Punjab who became a part of the final 13 contestants of the show. It will surely be interesting to watch them battle out to reach the finale.
For the unversed, the upcoming season will be hosted by Jay Bhanushali and aire on Sony TV.
