Indian Idol contestant Renu Nagar who hails from Rajasthan was a part of Top 8 contestants of the singing-based reality show, Indian Idol 10. The singer who was known for her powerful and incredible vocal skills is currently in a critical state after she learnt about her beau's suicide, as reported by Aaj Tak. As per the portal, the singer's boyfriend who goes with the name Ravi Nut allegedly consumed some poisonous substance and after learning about her boyfriend's tragic death, Renu collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. Reportedly, the singer is admitted in ICU and is being treated.
The portal further claimed that a month ago, Renu and Ravi had eloped. Due to which, the singer's father had lodged a complaint in police station accusing him of luring his daughter away. After the complaint was made, they returned 5 days before the suicide. Ravi was released by the police after taking Renu Nagar's statement. After which he consumed poisonous material last night. However, the reason behind Ravi ending his life is unknown to the police as well as to Ravi's father who said that he absolutely has no knowledge of him consuming the poisonous substance.
Aaj Tak report also purports that Ravi Nut has two children and a wife, who lived with the family in the town of Bharatpur district while Renu Nagar lives in Alwar in Rajasthan. Reportedly, Renu Nagar was also offered a song by composer duo Salim and Sulaiman Merchant for her incredible and powerful voice.
