Indian Idol 11 Host Aditya Narayan Announces Break For 6-Months From Television, Says 'It’s Not A Permanent Departure'
Aditya Narayan may not have achieved great success as an actor, but he attained fabulous fame by being the host of many singing reality shows on Television. For the past few years, Aditya has had his focus on his hosting career and he indeed turned out to be one of the most entertaining hosts we have ever seen on television. The last show he hosted was Indian Idol 11. His flirtatious gimmick with judge Neha Kakkar kept him a lot in the news. However, now the singer has decided to take a break from Television and focus on his singing career.

Aditya Narayan took to Instagram to pen a long post for his fans announcing that he is taking a 6-month long break from Television. In the post, he detailed all his achievements that he accomplished in the last 3 years by being on Television and also stated that this sabbatical is only temporary as he has already signed three new shows. He started off his post by listing down the shows he did in the past few years and wrote, "The last 3 years of my life have been extremely humbling. The only person to have hosted 3 music reality shows back to back across 3 different channels. Worked on 3 TV shows on air on the same channel simultaneously. 3 out of 8 shows were the number one show across all channels during their run. More than 350 episodes of content. That’s roughly 3500 hours. If you sleep for 8 hours a day and watch me for the remaining 16, you can watch me non stop for more than 6 months."

He further wrote, "As much as I love TV, working on so many TV shows has not allowed me time to work on the level of & amount of music that I would want to.Hence, I am taking a sabbatical from Indian Television for 6 months to work on my debut album & music videos. My next 3 TV shows already signed so it’s not a permanent departure."

Then he went on to talk about what the future holds and the list of projects he has on his hands. He also thanked his fans and family for all the support.
