Indian Idol 12: Dharmendra Is Impressed With Pawandeep Rajan’s Melodious Voice; Blesses Him With Parathas
Dharmendra was so mighty impressed with Pawandeep Rajan’s powerful voice that he blessed him with delicacies. This will be shown on this weekend's episode of Indian Idol 12
The latest guest judge to grace the sets of the singing reality show, Indian Idol 12 is veteran actor Dharmendra. The He-Man of the 70s also brought the magic of that era on the sets which took everyone down memory lane. This is the second time the actor is coming to Indian Idol 12. He was earlier accompanied by his co-star Asha Parekh. However, as Dharmendra became the latest judge, he was blown away by the performances that the contestants broadcasted on stage. Among others, he was amazed to hear Pawandeep Rajan’s performance. This will be shown on this weekend's episode of the show.
Rajan sang songs like ‘Hothon Se Chhulo Tum’ and ‘Jhilmil Sitaron Ka Sangan Hoga’ which left him surprised. After the performance, mighty impressed with his act, the Sholay actor heaped praised and even blessed him with delicacies. He treated him with parathas and said, “I am amazed by your voice and, your talent is incredible. Acknowledging your effort, I have brought some tasty Parathas for you from my farm.” Meanwhile, during the episode, he also remembered his friend and late legendary actor, Dilip Kumar. He revealed that he is yet to come to terms with the actor’s death, sharing that he had a close bond with him.
He said, “Abhi hum sadme se ubhre nahi hain...meri jaan the woh. Maine apni zindagi ki pehli film inhi ki dekhi thi. Aur inko dekh ke itna pyaar aya, mujhe laga mujhe bhi isi tarah industry mein pyaar mile...Dilip Sahab jitne azeem fankaar the usse bhi azeez insaan the”
This is not the first time where the guest judges have showered the contestants with gifts or treats. Earlier, music maestro AR Rahman had given a signed copy of his film cassette to Ashish Kulkarni as a gift.
