Sony TV is currently airing the finale episode of the longest-running season of the singing reality show, Indian Idol. The top six contestants - Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Shanmukha Priya, Nihal Tauro, Sayli Kamble, and Mohd Danish - are all pumped up for the ‘Greatest Finale Ever’. Here's what they told Spotboye.com about their hopes and of course, their experience on the show.

Pawandeep Rajan shared, "This is the first time that we have a finale that’s for 12 hours straight. I am currently going through a mixed bag of emotions. I’m excited, nervous, all at the same time. There’s so much in store for the viewers. We are putting our best foot forward to give the viewers an amazing experience. To be honest, it’s great to be a part of something that’s so huge and is happening for the very first time."


Mohd Danish said, "Firstly, Happy Independence to everyone. August 15 is a very important day for all of us and I am very excited to be a part of the one-of-a-kind Greatest Finale Ever that will go on for 12 hours! It is a new experience for us, and I hope the viewers are as eager as we are. I am experiencing all the emotions at once, to be honest. On one hand, I never imagined coming this far, when I did, I never imagined coming across so many respected personalities from the industry. And now that I am in the top 6, my only aim is to do my best and win the coveted title of Indian Idol Season 12."


Arunita Kanjilal says, "I’m so glad that Indian Idol Season 12 has been the first-ever singing reality show to be the longest-running ever. And now a 12-hour finale. This season has been the first to be able to pull something like this. So happy to be a contestant this season. This 12-hour finale is huge and exciting. There are going to be so many acts, performances, special guests, and a lot of surprises in store for the audiences. I have a couple of acts and have been practicing day and night to give the viewers a power-packed performance. I’m looking forward to the finale of the season."


Sayli Kamble says, "I am super happy as it is going to be the longest-running finale of this show for the first time ever. Indian Idol 12 has been an incredible journey for me and there will be lots of entertaining acts in the show's finale. We will be seen singing along with several celebrities on stage. I am not feeling nervous at all but very excited for the grand finale."


Shanmukhapriya says, "To be honest, it’s great to be a part of something that’s so huge and will be happening for the very first time. Indian Idol Season 12 has been the first-ever reality show to be the longest-running ever and now a 12-hour finale. There are going to be so many acts, performances, special guests, and a lot of astonishments in store for the viewers. I am super excited to give a power-packed performance on stage."


Nihal Tauro says, "I am blessed to be part of this show. I am thankful to the audience who have supported me and loved me throughout my journey. It is going to be a huge finale for the first time amongst all seasons. I am super excited to perform for the Greatest Finale Ever, I hope viewers enjoy my performance."
