Indian Idol 12: Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal Blessed With Gifts By Hrithik Roshan’s Parents
Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal received gifts from Rakesh and Pinkie Roshan during their recent visit to Hrithik Roshan’s residence
The popular singing reality show Indian Idol season 12 concluded on a grand note and the finale episode was a massive hit among the audience. Shortly after the show started, people became fans of the contestants on the show. To everyone’s surprise, Pawandeep Rajan became the winner of the show and Arunita Kanjilal was the first runner-up. The duo has been making a lot of noise as they have been decorating the news with their appearances on several other television shows. They are also being invited to numerous functions.
Recently, Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal met Hrithik Roshan’s parents and also received gifts from them. In an interaction with ETimes, Pawandeep detailed about the same and said, “Both Rakesh ji and Pinkie ji got really emotional and hugged both of us. We did sing quite a few songs and they really enjoyed our company.”
Furthermore, Hrithik Roshan's mother gifted him a gold chain with rudraksha and pouches with Goddess Laxmi coins in it. "She told me that the chain was given to her by her father. It has rudraksha and I was about to get myself a rudraksha and Pinkieji gifted it to me," Pawandeep added.
The ETimes report also mentioned that both Rakesh Roshan and Pinkie Roshan are huge fans of Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal and had expressed their desire to meet them. Pawandeep was also quizzed if Hrithik Roshan was there to hear them sing at his residence, to which he replied, "We met him for a brief time. He wished both of us and said 'keep working hard and rise in life'."
Work-wise, Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal are currently preparing for a musical series that will be directed by Raj Surani. The duo is learning to dance as they are also going to feature in the video performing at various functions.
