Mumtaz and Dharmendra will be seen together in the upcoming episode of Indian Idol 13
The upcoming episode of the popular singing reality show ‘Indian Idol 13’ will take audiences back to the 90s era. Yes, you read that right! Veteran actress Mumtaz will be appearing on the show for the very first time and she will be joined by her Loafer co-actor Dharmendra. Needless to say, it would be no less than a treat to see both legends together in one frame. The makers have shared a new promo from the episode and it shows Mumtaz sitting next to Dharam as she gives him a warm hug.
Sharing this exciting promo on Instagram, the channel wrote, “50 saal baad huyi hai Mumtaaz Ji ki entry on screen! Dekhiye inhe Indian Idol 13 ke #DharmendraMumtazClassics special episode mein! Aditya Narayan introduced Mumtaz and said, “Today is a special day due to two reasons. First, Dharmendra and Mumtaz are seen together after 50 years, two stalwarts of Hindi cinema. They did two films together. Loafer and Jheel Ke Uss Paar, were both released in 1973. Secondly, she never went to any show despite thousands of requests. For the first time, she has come here on her own accord to meet her favourite singers.”
In the promo, Mumtaz was seen giving a tight hug to the veteran actor and they both looked adorable together. Netizens loved their sizzling chemistry and said they can’t wait to watch them together. Mumtaz and Dharmendra have worked together in films like ‘Loafer’ and ‘Jheel Ke Uss Paar.’
