With International Women’s Day just around the corner, we are here to tell how Erica Fernandes, Shweta Tiwari, Rashami Desai, Divyanka Tripathi, Nia Sharma have become the Most Desirable Women on TV.
Erica Fernandes:
The actress set her foot in the TV world with Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi in 2016 where she played a doctor, Sonakshi Bose. After that, she went to become a household name after she starred in Ekta Kapoor’s romantic drama, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Erica even runs a YouTube channel which talks about makeup tutorials. In 2019, she won the Most Popular Actress Award for her show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and also won the Best Jodi Award along with Parth Samthan at the Indian Telly Awards. She then won her latest award as the Female Actor of the Year for the same show at the Asian Viewers Television Awards.
Shweta Tiwari:
She is still popularly known as Prerna Sharma. The actress rose to fame after starring Ekta Kapoor’s romantic drama, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actress did a few shows after that but then she directly bagged the Bigg Boss 4 winner’s title. Now, Shweta’s hands are full as she is currently working on ALT Balaji’s web show Hum Tum And Them and a daily soap, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan.
Rashami Desai:
Remember this lady? Guess, she needs to introduction as she made a lot of noise in Bigg Boss 13 house. However, she already was a big star before entering the BB13 house. She gained the utmost fame after playing Tapasya in Uttaran and then went on to star in Dil Se Dil Tak with Sidharth Shukla. Even though Sid emerged as a winner of the season, Desai won accolades for staying strong inside the house after her nasty fight with Sid and her heartbreak with Arhaan Khan. Well, being a strong person does make her one desirable woman that we can’t get enough of.
Divyanka Tripathi:
Divyanka started her career with Banoo Main Teri Dulhann where she bagged Best Actress (Popular), Fresh New Face (Female) awards along with the Most Popular On-Screen Couple with Sharad Malhotra also. However, the show that completely changed Tripathi’s life was Ekta Kapoor’s, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. She is not only one of the most popular actresses in the Television industry but quite a powerful one too. For this serial, she herself owned 12 awards including Television Personality of the Year, Best Actress in lead role and many more. The actress even starred in ALT Balaji’s web show Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala with Rajeev Khandelwal.
Nia Sharma:
She is currently winning hearts for her portrayal in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 4 but she rose to fame for her role of Manvi Chaudhary in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and went on to feature in Ishq Mein Marjawan, Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jamai Raja. Apart from acting in television, Sharma was ranked third and second in the Top 50 Sexiest Asian Women list published by British-based Eastern Eye newspaper in 2016 and 2017 respectively. This gives us more reasons for calling her one of the most desirable women in the television industry.
