Actor Dilip Joshi has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his versatile performances in movies and television serials. Having been a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, he essays the role of Jethalal Gada. On Saturday evening, the actor attended the wedding reception of Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai. Dressed in black, he was accompanied by his wife Jaymala Joshi.
In a video posted by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, the actor is seen twinning in black with his wife. While they stole the show with their appearance, it was his hilarious banter with the paps that won over the internet. In a fun banter, the shutterbags were seen asking him where Babita ji was. To which he said, “Apne ghar pe, aur kaha,” before he bursts out laughing. For those who don’t remember, in Asit Kumarr Modi’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Jethalal shares a flirtatious relationship with his neighbour Babita Ji (essayed by Munmun Dutta). For those who don’t know, Nupur Shikhare is a fitness coach, who has trained Bollywood celebrities like Sushmita Sen and Aamir Khan. On the other hand, Ira Khan made her directorial debut in 2019 with the stage production ‘Euripides' Medea,’ an adaptation of Euripides' Greek tragedy Medea. Apart from this, she also launched Agastu Foundation, which aims to help and support people battling with mental health issues. Having met during the pandemic, the couple tied the knot in a registered marriage on January 3 and then jetted off for their elaborate wedding festivities that took place in Udaipur from January 7th to 10th.
